I earned a
degree in *applied anthropology from the University of Colorado in 98. During my college career I worked for a diabetes study
geared toward children with first onset diabetes. I moved to Seattle in 98 after my family relocated to the
area. I worked in customer
service and business
development for 3
companies in the Seattle area before breaking off and starting my own business,
Daisy Services in
2005. In addition to my business, I am currently involved in the *Executive
Success Program’s life coach training program.
Daisy
Services gives me the
opportunity to make a large positive impact on the environment and to express
my unique abilities to provide both quality customer service and thoughtful
support for my client’s home and business goals.
I love my
job! I look forward to sharing my
expertise with you and making a difference in your life!
*Applied anthropology refers to the
application of method and theory in anthropology to the analysis and solution
of practical problems. Some regard applied anthropology to be a fifth
sub-discipline of anthropology
that applies anthropological data, perspectives, theory, and methods to
identify, assess and solve contemporary social problems. www.wikipedia.com
*Outward Bound was
founded in the tumultuous waters of the North Sea during World War II, to
provide young sailors with the experiences and skills necessary to survive at
sea. Named for the nautical term for a ship’s departure from the certainties of
the harbor, Outward Bound was a joint effort between British shipping magnate
Sir Lawrence Holt and progressive German educator Kurt Hahn.
In 1941, the first Outward Bound school, located in Aberdovey, Wales, offered
courses based on training, service, reflection, and team-building.
Outward Bound expeditions,
laced with the invaluable wisdoms of life experience, take you deep into remote
and beautiful wilderness areas and deep into the core elements of life. From
frustration to elation, and from apprehension to triumph, it's all there in real
time. Most people know that while an Outward Bound Wilderness expedition may be
hard, it will be something they will never regret or forget. Whether it is your
first expedition or your fifth, you will reap the benefits of the challenges
mastered at Outward Bound for the rest of your life. www.outwardbound.com
